ICYM Madanthyar Unit organizes Voviyo - 2018

ICYM Madanthyar Unit organized Voviyo - 2018, a training programme on Voviyo on Sunday, 2nd December at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church Hall, Madanthyar for the parishioners of Sacred Heart Church, Madanthyar. Rev Fr Basil Vas - Parish Priest, Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Madanthyar presided over the inaugural programme along with Rev. Fr Alwyn Dsouza - Assistant Parish Priest, Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Madanthyar. The members of “Konkani Matov Mangalore” - James Dsouza and Reena Dsouza were the guests of the programme. Leo Rodrigues - Secretary, Madanthyar parish pastoral council, Ronson Veigas - President, ICYM Madanthyar Unit were the dignitaries present on the dais.

The programme was inaugurated by the guests by lighting up the lamp. Ronson Veigas welcomed the guests and the gathering. Rev. Fr Basil Vas delivered a message on spreading the Konkani language and culture amongst the present generation.

A total of 150 parishioners were present for the programme. Lavita Fernandes - Secretary, ICYM Madanthyar Unit proposed the Vote of thanks. Ashwini Moras - Member, ICYM Madanthyar Unit compered the programme.
