ICYM Madanthyar unit organises Swachh Bharath Abhiyan

Bantwal: ICYM Madanthyar unit in collaboration with YCS Madanthyar, SDM committee, Beltangady taluk Madanthyar ward, gram Panchyath, Madanthyar and Maladi, JCI Madanthyar and with few more associations had organised Swatch Bharath Abhiyan in Madanthyar town.

All the members of various associations gathered near ‘Ashadeepa’ road. The programme was inaugurated by Fr Alwyn D’Souza, assistant parish priest, Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Madanthyar accompanied by the presidents of the associations.

Madanthyar town was cleaned from the Asha Deepa road to Sacred Heart of Jesus Church by the gathering. ‘Plastic Free Environment’ was the message conveyed to everyone by organising the programme.

As a great motivator to the youth Fr Basil Vas, parish priest, Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Madanthyar joined hands with the youth for the Swatch Bharath Abhiyan programme.
