ICYM Naravi Unit organized Vanamahotsava - 2018

Mangaluru: ICYM Naravi Unit organized Vanamahotsava - 2K18 on Sunday 15th July 2018 at 09:30 AM in St. Antony Church, Naravi. Mr. Ajith – Forest Officer was the Chief Guest for the programme. Rev. Fr. Simon DSouza - Parish Priest, St. Antony Church, Naravi presided the programme along with Rev. Fr. Arun Wilson Lobo – Assistant Director - ICYM Naravi Unit, Mr. Vincent Rodrigues – Vice - President and Mrs. Rita Pinto – Secretary, Parish Pastoral Council, Mr. Sanjay Miranda – Animator, ICYM Naravi Unit were present as the dignitaries of the programme.

Mr. Rohan Pereira, Unit President welcomed the gathering. Mr. Ajith inaugurated the programme by handovering saplings to Mr. Vincent Rodrigues along with 9 ward gurkars and addressed the gathering on the importance of Greenery. Rev. Fr. Simon DSouza appreciated the youth for organizing Vanamahotsava in the parish and encouraged the youth and the parishioners to plant many saplings in the required areas. Mr. Jovel Fernandes thanked each and everyone for being part of this programmme and compered the programme. At the end, Saplings were distributed to all the parishioners.
