ICYM Suratkal Unit organizes "YUVA MILAN"

ICYM Suratkal Unit organized "YUVA MILAN" a half day programme for the youth of Suratkal parish on Sunday, 29 July, 2018 at Sacred Heart Church Hall from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The event was presided over by the Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Paul Pinto, accompanied by Parish Pastoral Council Vice-President Mr. Dony Suares, Secretary - Mr. Bernard Dsouza, ICYM Animator Ms. Teena Rebello and ICYM Suratkal Deanery President Mr. Sandeep Dsouza. The programme was inaugurated by watering a sapling, signifying the growth and development of youth in the society. Two sessions were held for the day. The first session was conducted by Mr. Elson Hirgan who spoke about the importance of ICYM Unit in a parish, different ways to strengthen it and motivated the youth to actively participate in this movement.

The second session was conducted by Rev. Fr. Rahul Dsouza, Pakshikere. He spoke about the various aspects of a person's life that need to be taken as a challenge and that they should be faced bravely. The event concluded with the lunch. It was a funfilled day and a day to remember.
