ICYM Urwa Unit celebrates Vanamahotsava and a day with children

ICYM Urwa Unit celebrated Vanamahotsava on Saturday, 21st July 2018 in a unique way at St. Aloysius Kannada Medium School, Urwa. Rev. Fr. Jason Lobo - Assistant Parish Priest, Urwa welcomed the students and the gathering. The programme commenced with a prayer song led by the students of St. Aloysius Kannada Medium School.

Rev. Fr. Stany Periera - Parish Priest, Urwa Church presided and inaugurated the programme by planting a sapling in a pot as symbolic way and addressed the students on the importance of Vanamahotsava with an interactive session. Rev. Fr. Cyril Lobo - Resident Priest, Urwa, Head teacher – Mrs. Florine Pereira and Staffs of the school along with ICYM Members of Urwa Unit were present for the programme.

After the inaugural programme ICYM members under the co-ordination of Ms. Ashwitha Dantis, conducted various innovative games to the students in class wise and prizes were distributed to the winners.
