Inauguartion of Commerce Fest ‘AMBIORA-2016’ at St Philomena College Puttur

Puttur: Department of Commerce, St Philomena College Puttur organized an intercollegiate commerce Fest ‘AMBIORA-2016’ on February 24, 2016 in college auditorium.

Mr. Sahaj Rai, President, Jaya Karnataka Youth Wing, D K District inaugurated the Fest and said, ‘Success in life depends on risk bearing ability of an individual.’

Rev. Dr Antony Prakash Monteiro, Campus Director was the chief guest. In his address he said, ‘Mere bookish knowledge is of no use in our life. To become educated persons we should acquire necessary skills and courage.’

Prof. Leo Noronha, Principal of the college said, ‘Humility and discipline leads to great success in life.’

Very Rev. Fr Alfred J Pinto, Correspondent of the college in his presidential address said, ‘Today, the whole world is based on the progress of trade and commerce.’

Prof. Maxim Carl, HOD of the Department and Convenor of the Fest welcomed the gathering. The student coordinator Mr. Sandeep Rai was present and Ms. Eden J D’Mello proposed the vote of thanks. Ms. Lavita D’Souza compered the programme.
