After inaugurating the Commerce Laboratory of P G Department of Commerce of St Philomena College Puttur, in his inaugural address, he said, ‘The Commerce laboratory is a new concept, wherein students practice their theoretical knowledge gained in the classroom. In addition, students carry on more and more experiments. Mock commerce and business activities are undertaken in laboratory. By this method of learning and practicing, students will develop self-confidence of running a business profitably and understand the practical difficulties.’
The Chairperson of Centre for Research and Post Graduate Studies Rev. Dr Antony Prakash Monteiro and the Principal Prof. Leo Noronha participated in this programme as guests of honour. The Principal of St Philomena P U College Rev. Fr Vijay Lobo graced the occasion. The Correspondent of the college Very Rev. Fr Alfred J Pinto presided over the programme.
