Income Declaration Scheme conducted at A J Institute

Mangaluru: An awareness programme on Income Declaration Scheme, 2016, was conducted at A J Institute of Medical Sciences & Research Centre on September 8.

The event was organized by the Income Tax Department, here in association with A J group of Institutions. The scheme was to highlight the importance of declaring any such undisclosed income of the earlier years. The highlights of the scheme were put forth by Narottam Mishra, IRS, principal commissioner, Income Tax Department, Government Of India. He was accompanied by Siddappaji K N, IRS, additional commissioner, Income tax Department and K A Chandra Kumar, IRS, joint commissioner, Income Tax Department. The gathering was welcomed by Dr Ashok Hegde, dean, A J Institute of Medical Sciences & Research Centre. A J Shetty delivered the presidential address and Dr Prashanth Marla, medical director, A J Hospital & Research Centre introduced the chief guest.

The talk was attended by the management and all the faculty of the various institutes under Laxmi Memorial Education Trust. A Q and A session was also held. The programme was hosted by Dr Kalpana Ashfaque, who also delivered the vote of thanks.
