Indonesian Consul General is keen on relations with Mangaluru City

Mangaluru: Indonesian Consulate General Saut Siringoringo said that Indonesia is keen on two way relations with Mangaluru city in certain fields. The departments from Indonesia will have discussions with Mangaluru city authorities on the selected fields to start a new era of bilateral relation with the city.

He went on to say that Indonesian government has already conducted an analysis on the fast growing Mangaluru city and the developments it has achieved so far in various sectors especially in education. A delegation from Indonesia arrived in Mangaluru and held discussions with KCCI Kanara Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The delegation will gather information on other sectors of the city also for bilateral relations.

In an attempt to expand bilateral relations with India, Indonesian government is organising Trade Expo Indonesia in April 2017 in selected cities of India. This is likely to expand trade relationships between India and Indonesia in the near future.Indonesia is promoting travel and tourism therefore, it is possible for them to build relation between Jakarta and Mangaluru to expand tourism relations.
