Industrial Visit organized by PG Department of Economics, SPC Puttur

Puttur: To provide an exposure to students about practical working of industrial environment, PG Department of Economics of St Philomena College Puttur organized an Industrial Visit Programme on October 1, 2018.

 

In the first session, the students visited Gurucharan Industries, Bikampady, Mangalore.The Proprietors Mr Jayakar Shettigar and Mr Gurucharan explained about the manufacture of plastic processing machineries and spare parts. They also shared their practical experiences with the students.

In the second session, the students visited Deccan Plast Industries, Bikampady, Mangalore. The Proprietor Mr B H Asgarali presented the details about the various products manufactured and the marketing strategy of the unit.

The Coordinator Mr Dinakara Rao, Assistant Professors Mr Pradeep K S and Ms Mahitha Kumari coordinated the Visit Programme.
