International Yoga Day celebrated at St Philomena Institutions Puttur

Puttur: International Yoga Day is celebrated by St Philomena educational institutions Puttur on June 21, 2017 at St Philomena High School auditorium. The Correspondent of the institutions Rev. Fr Alfred J Pinto inaugurated International Yoga Day and in his message said, ‘Regular practice of yoga will help us to achieve physical and mental health.’

The Principal of St Philomena Pre-University College Rev. Fr Vijay Lobo, President of Old Students’ Association Mr. N K Jagannivasa Rao and Vice president of Parent Teacher Association of St Philomena High School Mrs. Vijaya Saraswathi graced the occasion.

NCC cadets of St Philomena educational institutions have demonstrated yoga on this occasion. NCC Officers Lt. Johnson David Sequeira, Mr. Clement Pinto, Mr. Roshan Sequeira, Mr. Naresh Lobo and Physical Education Instructor Mr. Prakash D’Souza have coordinated the programme. Head Master of St Philomena High School Mr. Oswald Rodrigues welcomed the gathering. Teacher of St Philomena High School Mr. Rajshekhar compered the programme.
