Ivan offers prayers at Dharmasthala shrine

Belthangadi: MLC and Chief Whip of State Legislative Council Ivan D’Souza arrived in Dharmasthala on Wednesday and paid a visit to the Shree Manjunatha Swamy Temple.

Ivantold the waiting media men that this was only a personal visit and that he has offered prayers to Lord Manjunatha. He also went on to say that the Lord himself will take care of everything.

Ivan during his interaction with the media, launched a tirade against State BJP Chief and former CM Yeddyurappa and asked him to stop dreaming of becoming the CM of the state. He also spoke about the government plans of increasing the free rice provided under Anna Bhagya from the present 5 kg to 8 kg.

Ivan later met Dr D Veerendra Heggade, Dharmadhikari of Dharmasthala.
