Janardhan Poojary performs Urulu Seve for justice in Cauvery dispute

Mangaluru: Former union minister B Janardhana Poojary performed 'Urulu Seve' at Kudroli Gokarnatheshwara temple on Sunday September 18 seeking the blessings of God for justice for state in Cauvery interstate water dispute.

Poojary, who is 79, offered prayers to the deities in the temple and said “May the verdict of Supreme Court come in favour of Karnataka. May there be solutions for all these disputes soon. And also the verdict on Nethravati River comes in favor of Dakshina Kannada."

Mangaluru South MLA JR Lobo, Vijayakumar Shetty and others were present.
