Jose Salvador Fernandes, Goa, Elected the President of J.K.S

The 6th Global General Assembly of Jagotik Konknni Songhotton (JKS – Global Konkani Organisation) which met on Aug 27, 2017, at Kalaangann, Mangalore, elected Konkani activist Shri Jose Salvador Fernandes of Xrextt Prokaxon, Goa, as its new President.

Shri Eric Ozario, Mangalore, was elected the Secretary General. The other Office Bearers are –

• Shri K. K. Utharan (Kerala) – Vice President (India)
• Shri Clifford Arun D’Souza (Saudi Arabia) – Vice President (Gulf countries)
• Dr. Austin D’souza Prabhu (USA) – Vice President (Other countries)
• Shri Louis J. Pinto (Mangalore) – Treasurer
• Shri Kishore Fernandez (Mangalore) – Associate Secretary
• Shri Joy Ciriaco Fernandes (Goa) – P.R.O.

The following were elected to the Executive Committee –

• Shri Shridhar Manjunath Kharvi (Bhatkal)
• Dr. Vasant Shantaram Bandekar (Karwar)
• Shri Lullus Cutinha (Bengaluru)
• Shri Vincente Dias (Goa)
• Shri Anthony Miranda (Goa)
• Shri Santhosh Lotlikar (Goa)
• Shri K. Vishwanathan (Cochin)
• Shri N. Prabhakaran (Cochin)
• Shri K. Vijayan (Cochin)
• Shri Grashan Rodrigues (Calicut)
• Shri Ancy D’Souza Paladka (Vasai)


The term of this Committee is 2 years.
