Joyous Christmas Celeberation at Holy Rosary Church Kundapur

Kundapura, December 25: The grand celebration of Christmas at Holy Rosary Church, Kundapur was held with solemnity and joy of Nativity. Prior to the Eucharistic celebration, carol singing started from 7.30 p.m. on Thursday, 24th December.

At 8 p.m. the solemn high mass was concelebrated in Holy Rosray Church by the Parish Priest of the church, Rev. Fr. Praveen Amrut Martis with Very Rev. Fr. Prakash Paul D’Souza Dean of Kundapur Deanery and Assistant Parish Priest Rev.Prakash Paul D’souza

During his homily, with Very Rev. Fr. Prakash Paul D’Souza said that the Word of God became flesh through Jesus and called all humanity to love each other as brothers and sisters, and true joy and spirit of Christmas is the boundless love of God who has redeemed all humankind through Jesus, his own son. He further said that the real the joy of Christmas is true love, which pardons all our faults, failings, weaknesses, and gives hope to one and all in our darkest moments of despair.

Soon after the mass ICYM of the church unit organized auction, games and other programmes. Sisters and devotees gathered in large numbers.
