Kannada organisation protest against deteriorating of road

Udupi: Karnataka Rakhasana Vedike and Karnataka Karmirakara Vedike jointly staged protest against the deteriorating the Malpe – Thirathahalli National Highway road at Tiger Circle, Manipal on Saturday.

Addressing the protest on the middle of the road, Ansar Ahmed, District President of KRV said, "The National Highway at Manipal is completely deteriorated and it has been very difficult to the commuters, pedestrians’ and all the vehicle riders. In regard to the worst condition of the road, Shobha Karandleje MP should respond to the issue. But Shobha Karandleje has been missing in the constituency. Shobha Karandleje should resign immediately."

The NH official Manjunath interacted with the striking persons and said that during the rainy season, repairing the roads not possible. They said that they will nrepair the road after rainy season gets over.

During the end of the protest National Highway Authority of India Assistant Engineer Manjunath Nayak visited the protesting leaders. The protestors gave deadline to repair the said deteriorating road within the end of this month.
