Khader says temporary measures taken up at sea erosin affected areas

Mangaluru: State Minister for Food and Civil Supplies U T Khader said that officials of the Port Department and engineers will be reviewing the problem of sea erosion every day. He also said that temporary measures like dumping boulders have been taken up in Kaiko, Kilerianagar and Someshwara Uchila, which are facing acute problem of sea erosion.

The Minister who visited the affected area has said the District Administration has been asked to provide relief to the affected people from the Natural Calamities Relief Fund.

Ullal TMC Chief Hussain Kunhi Monu and a few councillors were also present. Khader assured the people who are affected of solving their problem as soon as possible.
