Konkan Railway organises workshop for Auto, Taxi drivers at Mulky

Mulky: Konkan Railway Corporation Limited arranged one day workshop on Tourism at Mulky Railway station for taxi and auto-rickshaw drivers of Mulky station area on Saturday.

The programme was organised through Tourism Department, Dakshina Kannada District, Mangaluru. Around 55 taxi,autorickshaw drivers in and around Mulky area were participated in the workshop.

Sudhir T. Gowda, District Tourism Consultant and Umesh Karkera, Tourism Guide, Tourism Department, Mangaluru informed about the tourist spots in Dakshina Kannada and Udupi District through a documentary show. The drivers were asked to cooperate with the tourists to make Dakshina Kannada more tourist friendly destination in the state. They also advised to maintain good behavior with the tourists.
