Konkani Natak Sabha holds ‘Haskule’ comedy skit competition

Mangaluru: The third inter parish ‘Haskule’ competition organized by Konkani Natak Sabha was held at Don Bosco hall here on Sunday September 18. The competition was inaugurated by NRI entrepreneur James Mendonca and Lawrence Mendonca along with director of Four Winds Mass Communication E Fernandes by lighting the lamp.

President Fr Paul Melwyn D’Souza, vice president Prem Lobo, general secretary Sunil Menezes, joint secretary Judith D’Souza, treasurer Jerry Concessao and convenor Floyd D’Mello were on the dais.

Thamaso Kateel, Geleyara Balaga Neermarrga, Kalapreeth Paldane, Kumpadr Kateel, Kuchilyo Pakshikere, Smiles Bejai, Kushali Kinnigoli and mogachi Lara Angelore teams took part in the competition.

Kushali Kinnigoli team bagged the first place, Kalapreeth Paldane team the second and Kumpadr Kateel team the third place.

Leslie Rego, Denis Monteiro and Alwyn Andrade were the judges.

President Fr Paul Melwyn D’Souza welcomed the gathering. Vice president Prem Lobo introduced the judges. General secretary Sunil Menezes proposed vote of thanks and convenor Floyd D’Mello announced the results. Dolphy Saldanha compered the competition.
