LAMP LIGHTING &OATH TAKING CEREMONY AT S.C.S COLLEGE OF NURSING SCIENCES – APRIL 2022

The lamp lighting and oath taking ceremony of the 28th batch of B.Sc Nursing students and 20th batch GNM students of SCS College & Institute of Nursing Sciences was held on 29th April 2022 at KAMC Auditorium, Ashoknagar, Mangalore. The programme was inaugurated by Chief Guest Prof.Sonia Sebastian, Principal K.Pandyaraj Ballal Nursing Institute, College of Nursing,Mangalore. Dr. Rajneesh Sorake, President, SCS Group of Institutions presided over the function. A heart warming welcome speech was given by Mrs.Rajashree,Asst. Lecturer. The novice nurses received the light from the Chief Guest of the programme.Mrs. Laveena, Asst. Lecturer highlighted the significance of the day.

The Chief Guest,Prof. Sonia Sebastian in her address congratulated the students for selecting this noble profession and stressed on the importance of nursing profession in patient care.

All the novice nursing students were rendered into the profession by taking the nurses oath delivered by the Principal, Prof.(Mrs.) Lolita S.M D’Souza. The program was compered by Mr.Denzil, Asst. Lecturer &Mrs. Sindhya, Lecturer and vote of thanks was delivered by Ms.Deepa, Asst. Lecturer.Mr. Anil Kumar,Vice Principal andMr. Saju M V, Assistant Administrative officer, SCS Group of Institutions was present for the programme.
