Mangaluru: District youth congress president Mithun Rai has appointed youth leader, Lawrence D’ Souza Vamanjoor as the secretary of Dakshina Kannada youth congress. This appointment was announced in the meeting held in the Congress party office on April 11.
Lawrence hails from Narampadi in Kasargod. He holds diploma in electrical engineering. He has worked in several organisations and associations. He has represented ICYM Mangaluru diocese as the secretary in the world youth conference held in Spain.
Lawrence has organized several programmes in Mangaluru’s popular Mand Sobhan organization as a treasurer and member of working committee. He is also the president of KonkaniPrachar Sanchalan which works for teaching of Konkani in schools.
