Laxman Nimbargi replaces Dr Sanjeev M Patil as new SP of Udupi

Udupi: Dr Sanjeev M Patil, hitherto Superintendent of Police (SP) of Udupi district has been transferred. Laxman Nimbargi has been posted as new Superintendent of Police of Udupi District. Dr Sanjeev M Patil has been promoted as Deputy Commissioner of Police – Administration in Bangaluru.

The incoming SP hails from Indi in Vijayapura district, but currently settled in Chitradurga where he pursued Engineering and appeared for UPSC examinations in 2014.

Dr Sanjeev M Patil was popular in district for starting the Phone in programme. He won the confidence and hearts of the people. He succeeded in managing law and order in all India level Dharma Sansad held in Udupi . He took strict action against Matka bidders all over the district and sent a proposal to the district administration to book under the Goonda Act.
