Laxmi Memorial College of Nursing holds CNE on 'Nurse Expertise'

Mangaluru: Department of Nursing Education and second year PB BSc Nursing students of Laxmi Memorial College of Nursing organised a continuing nursing education programme on 'Nurse Expertise' at AJIMS auditorium, Kuntikana, here on Thursday, June 15.

The chief guest of the programme was professor Sr Dhanya Devasiya, principal of Athena College of Nursing.

Resource person professor Sr Dhanya spoke about 'Empathy in Nurses'.

Dr Diana Lobo professor and head of department of Nursing foundation of LMCN spoke about the 'Prevention of post operative complication'.

Krishna Kumar, MD of Tech 2 People Pvt Ltd, spoke about ECG fundamental and basic Dysrhythemia.

Professor Chitra, vice principal of Unity College of Nursing spoke on 'Dehydration Assessment and Fluid Management'.

The CNE came to an end with valedictory programme. Student nurses, staff nurses, faculty members from various colleges were the beneficiaries of CNE programme.

The comperes of the programme were Sumani and Anusha.

Ashritha P Shetty, director of Laxmi Memorial Education Trust, presided over the programme and Dr Larissa Martha Sams, principal of Laxmi Memorial College of Nursing, Dr Jenifer D’ Souza, head of department of Community Health Nursing and organising chairperson, Precilla Ferrao, organizisng secretary were present on this occasion.
