Laying of Foundation stone for open stage in Bajal

Foundation stone laying ceremony for the new open air stage was recently held in Bajal Church premises. Mr. Ivan Dsouza MLC and Parliamentary Secretary to Chief Minister was the chief guest.

On this occasion the Parish Priest of Bajal Holy Spirit Church Rev. Fr. Remegius Aranha welcomed the guests and the fathering and felicitated Mr. Ivan Dsouza for his contribution to the community and also for his efforts in setting up of Christian Development Board and allocating Rs. 200 crores for the purpose. He also explained the need for open air stage in the premises since there is no proper stage in the premises and will helpful for the School activities and publics also.

Ivan Dsouza in his address gave thanks to the Chief Minister of Karnataka for setting up of the Christian Development Corporation and after laying stone for the stage announced some grants for the for stage from his fund.

Vice president Henry Dsouza propsed vote of thanks. The Secretary Maurice Dsouza and Deacon Roshan Dsouza were on the dais. Sunil Crasta compered the programme.
