Subrahmanya: In a shocking incident, a leopard killed a dog after it strayed into the yard of farmer Shankar Bhat in Govinda Nagar in Katta on Sunday night.
The leopard seemed attracted by the pet dog kept leashed in the kennel.
Since the door of the dog-house was open, the big cat straightaway made a dash into it and dragged it out.
The animal's abdominal part was eaten up, at a distance away from the house.
