Manipal: Manipal College of Nursing, Manipal University, has not been affected by the de-recognition issues between a few nursing colleges in Karnataka and Indian Nursing Council (INC).In a press release issued here recently MCON said students should not be misled or misinformed about this.
“The parents of children who have taken admission, and those seeking admission to MCON appear to be concerned because of the non-appearance of the college name in the INC website. That has nothing to do with MCON Manipal and will not affect the future of the children.
The Manipal College of Nursing, Manipal, is a constituent institution of Manipal University – A deemed university as notified by the University Grants Commission, New Delhi, vide their notification no. F. 6-1(II)/2006 (CPP-I) dated September 13, 2006.
