MIT hosts workshop on image processing

Kundapur: Computer Science department, Moodlakatte Institute of Technology held a workshop on image processing and its applications.

Professor at Vivekananda College Puttur, Harivinod N, was the chief guest and resource person. He inaugurated the programme.

He said, "Knowledge is essential for everyone. We get opportunities to increase it during daily activities. We should learn new skills for development in the present era and remove unwanted topics from them.”

College principal Dr Katayya who presided over the programme said, "All students should take advantage of the workshop and receive knowledge on the technology in digital era."

Head of the department, professor Melvyn D'Souza was present. Assistant professor in the department, Dhanya Shenoy welcomed the guests and compered the programme.
