MLA Lobo wants parallel road from Netravathi Banks to Kannur

Mangaluru: J R Lobo, MLA of Mangaluru South has said that the state government has sanctioned Rs 25 lakhs for a survey work of the proposed parallel road that links the Highway from Netravathi banks to Kannur Masjid.

He also stated that the survey work has to be done in co-ordination with the National Highway Department, PWD, MCC and Revenue Department. He inspected the site on Tuesday and also instructed officials to ensure that there was no need for any eviction in the process of implementation of the project.

The parallel road also helps in easing the congestion on the existing road.
