‘MULLERUN’ MARATHON at Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital, Deralakatte.

On the occasion of World Diabetes Day, Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital, a unit of Father Muller Charitable Institutions along with NSS UNIT of Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College is organizing a Marathon - ‘MULLERUN’ on Sunday, 13th November 2022.

Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital has been catering Homoeopathic treatment to the patients since 1985. Over the years, the hospital has been functioning with Out-patient departments in various specialities and 24x7 In-patient department, Yoga & naturopathy unit, Counselling, Physiotherapy, X-ray and Laboratory services.

The hospital has been conducting various Health Camps and Health Awareness Talks to the general public on the occasion of important health events. To add on to this, on the occasion of World Diabetes Day, a Marathon – ‘MULLERUN’ is organized in two categories, covering 5km run., starting from Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College Campus to Kuthar Junction and back to College and 15 km Run, starting from Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College Campus – Kuthar – Thokkottu via Beeri – Deralakatte Junction and ends at Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College Campus.

The Marathon – MULLERUN will be inaugurated by Ms Geetha Kulakarni, Asst. Commissioner of Police (Traffic), Mangalore. Rev. Fr Richard Aloysius Coelho, Director, Father Muller Charitable Institutions will preside over the programme. Flag off timing for the 15km. will be at 6.30 a.m and 5km at 7.15a.m. More than 800 participants have registered for the Marathon.

The I, II & III winners in both the categories will be awarded with cash prizes, Health Check up Vouchers and gift hampers of total worth Rs. 1 Lakhs. All the finishers will be acknowledged with a certificate for their participation.

Along with the Marathon, a week long Medical Camp on Diabetes and Diet is organized at Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College Hospital Out Patient Department at Deralakatte from 14th to 19th November from 9.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. During the camp Free Sugar Test and Diabetic related tests will be done at 50% concessional rate.
