Man dies in front of polling booth

Belthangady: A man who was on way to the polling booth at a booth at Andinje village on Saturday morning has succumbed to heart attack.

The deceased has been identified as Anni Acharya (70) of Jarigedadi in Belthangady. He collapsed right in front of the polling booth and died on the spot. A case has been registered in Venoor Police Station.

He was said to be weak, however he wanted to cast his vote. He unfortunately died in such a way.
