Kasargod: A man who was trapped in a well for days in semi-conscious state was saved by people at Uppala Gate near Manjeshwar.

When some people at Uppala Gate heard cries of a man from a nearby well, they rushed there. The well was full of dumped garbage. They rescued the man trapped in the well with great difficulty. Then they took him to a hospital in Uppala for treatment.

It is confirmed that the man is a labourer from a neighbouring state. Police can only talk to him after he gains his consciousness fully. It is not known when the man fell into the well.
