Mangaluru Basketball Club men's team win tournament

Mangaluru: Mangaluru Basketball Club men's team has won the just concluded maiden tournament held by Karnataka State Basketball Association in Bengaluru, Kanteerava stadium. The winners were handed over an award and Rs one lac cash on the occasion.

Mangaluru team defeated Mysuru's Rising Stars team by 86-81 points.

Twenty-four teams from Karnataka had participated in the tournament. Mangaluru Basketball club in the other matches won against Bengaluru's Halasoor Basketball club by 71-63 points, Rover's club Dharward by 71-59 points, Hoysala Hassan by 57-43 points and against VBC Mandya by 64-33 points.
