Mangaluru Dasara Celebrations to be held at Kudroli Temple from Oct 1

Mangaluru: The auspicious Navarathri Utsav and Mangaluru Dasara at Shree Gokarnanatheshwara Kshetra Kudroli will be celebrated from October 1 to 12.



Addressing media at Kudroli temple, HS Sairam President Temple Managing Committee said that the preparations of Mangaluru Dasara is on full swing and Annasantharpana will be held during the celebration and Maha Annasantharpane will be on October 13.

Senior Congress Leader B Janardhana Poojary said that, Mangaluru Dasara at Kudroli temple is one of the biggest festivities in Karanataka. He further stated that, Mangaluru dasara is common man’s dasara as it is not funded by the government as in Mysore Dasara and people of the city actively participate during the celebration.

Thousands of devotees, enthusiasts and tourists from across the state and country is expected to witness the popular Mangaluru dasara procession.
