Manjunath Shevgoor conferred with PHD

Mangaluru: Manjunath Shevgoor has been conferred the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Computing (Ph. D.) by the University of Utah, Salt Lake City, USA for his thesis titled, ‘Enabling Big Memory with Emerging Technologies’ prepared under the guidance of Dr Rajeev Balasubramonian, Professor, School of Computing, University of Utah.

Manjunath Shevgoor conferred Ph.D by University of Utah, USA-1The convocation ceremony was held on May 5, 2016 at University of Utah in the presence of Gary Herbert, Governor of Utah, the Department Heads and Registrar of the University.

Manjunath is an alumnus of Chinmaya Educational Institutions, Mangaluru; Canara PU College, Mangaluru and RV College of Engineering, Bengaluru. He completed his MS in Computing from the University of Utah. He is the son of Bharathi Shevgoor and Vishnudas Kamath Shevgoor, from the well-known family of artists in Mangaluru.
