Mangaluru: St Theresa School has formulated a new method to teach mathematics at all levels. This concept has materialised with the setting up of a Math Park, which was inaugurated on January 21 by Harinath, Mayor of Mangaluru and was blessed by Rev Fr. Anthony Serrao, Parish Priest of Bendur Church.

This park provides opportunities for students to become more mathematically aware, capable and confident. The main objective of this park is to introduce Math in creative and innovative ways, create an easy-to-learn concept and help students with difficulties in the subject. The models in the park are Math classification, Manual clock, Pythagonal and Hexagonal Pyramids etc. It is one of the first of its kind in an educational institution in Mangaluru.

Sr. Lills, Vice President of Bethany Educational Society (BES); Sr. Mariatte, Secretary of BES; Prof Dr. Devi Prabha, Sr. Premitha, Sr. Mercine, Sr Leena, local corporators Sabitha Misquith and Naveen D’souza were present on the occasion.
