Milagres College Kallianpur holds career guidance programme for PUC students

Udupi: A career guidance programme was held for students of first PU of Milagres College, Kallianpur, at the Silver Jubilee Hall on campus, on Saturday, July 15.

The career guidance cell of Milagres College and Milagres PU College in association with Catholic Sabha and Education Commission Milagres Cathedral organised the programme.

Dr Jayaram Shettigar, head of History department of Milagres College, Dr Gerald Pinto coordinator of the programme, and Karthik Nayak, lecturer of Commerce, were the resource persons of the programme.

Correspondent of Milagres College, Fr Stany B Lobo, inaugurated the programme by lighting the lamp. He asked students to seek advice from resource persons, in choosing their path for future studies and career.

Savitha, principal of Milagres PU College, wished the students well.

Dr Vincent Alva, principal of Milagres College in his presidential address, advised students to select the right course and a suited career.

Dr Surekha, convener of Career Guidance Cell of Milagres College, welcomed the gathering. Raymond Crasta president of Catholic Sabha thanked the audience.
