Milagres College holds orientation programme for NSS volunteers

Mangaluru: An orientation programme for NSS volunteers was organized on Thursday July 28 at 3.40 pm in the college auditorium of Milagres College.

The programme began with a prayer. The Chief guest and resource person, department of Economics, Padua College of Commerce and Management, Cassin Rodriguez, vice principal, NSS programme officer Nikhil Martis were present on the dais.

Nikhil Martis, NSS programme officer welcomed the gathering. The programme was presided over by Cassin Rodriguez. He conveyed his message to the NSS volunteers on active participation in all activities.

Shridhar oriented the NSS Volunteers about their zeal to serve in society through NSS and also emphasized on personality development through NSS. He explained the programmes and activities carried out under National Service Scheme and how to select their work area.

Mahamed Ashraf, NSS secretary proposed the vote of thanks. Evon Elvas compered the entire programme. The programme ended with the National Service Scheme song.
