Milagres College inaugurates outreach unit 'Sahayoga'

Mangaluru: Milagres College inaugurated an outreach unit 'Sahayoga-2018'. The programme was inaugurated by the chief guest Jeeth Milan Roche, entrepreneur and environmentalist, founder of Green Brigade, here. In his message to the gathering he said, "Nature is God's gift which is being destroyed by man. It is through self initiative that he has to protect and preserve it. Youth should take on the responsibility of establishing a beautiful environment and plastic free surrounding. Every individual should plant at least one sapling which will be the best gift for the future generation."

Guest of honor Lydia Lobo, administrator, LINK- Integrated Rehabilitation Centre for Addicts, Mangaluru addressing the students said, "A large number of youth today are getting addicted to various substances. It is by their own efforts that they have to get rid of addiction which is the need of the hour."

Principal Fr Micheal L Santhumayor welcomed the gathering. The coordinator of the Outeach unit, Dr Mamatha N R proposed the Vote of thanks. Joselyn Sharon Sanctus of III Bcom compered the programme.

Academic advisor, Prof Lourdusamy; coordinator, Nayana K; student coordinator, Royston Bryan D Souza were present on the dais.
