Milagres Educational Institutions celebrated the 70th Independence Day at Kallianpur

Udupi : The 70th Independence day of India celebrated at Milagres Institutions, Kallianpur on Monday, 15th August, 2016.

After the celebrations of the Assumption of Our Lady of Mother Mary at Milagres Cathedral, Kallianpur which concelebrated by Rev Fr. Victor Fernandes, Principal of Milagres English Schools along with Very Rev Fr. Stany B. Lobo.

 The correspondent of Milagres Institutions Very Rev Fr. Stany B. Lobo hoisted the flag at Milagres Cathedral campus. Milagres High School organized the Independence Day celebrations after the mass.

St Joseph’s Higher Primary School on the occasion of 70th Independence Day national flag was hoisted by Vijay Kumar, President of PTA of the school. Sr. Susheela Monteiro Head Mistress of the school, Herald D’Silva, PTA members, staff and large students were present.

The Milagres Kindergarten School celebrated the 70th Independence day with style of dressing national leaders during the Independence looks so beautiful and enthusiastic which small kids might be dressed like the first time in their life. Rev Fr. Victor Fernandes Principal of Milagres English school was hoisted the national flag. Veera D’Silva Headmistress, staff and parents of the kids were present. Fr. Victor Fernandes gave his brief message.

The colorful celebrations of the 70th Independence Day held Milagres English Medium, Primary and High school with a National Flag hoisting ceremony which Rev Fr. Victor Fernandes Principal of Milagres English school, Santhosh PTA President of Milagres English Medium High School, Reshma PTA President of Milagres Higher Primary School were present.

The 70th Independence Day of India celebrated at Milagres PU College and Milagres Degree College with hoisting a national flag by Principal Dr. Gerald Pinto and Mrs. Hande Principal of Milagres PU College. NCC of the college paraded beautifully and college brass band assisted the celebrations.

College’s faculty and large number of students of the college present during the flag hoisting ceremony. All the institutions of Milagres were celebrated various cultural programmes in respective school halls.
