Mangaluru: DK District in-charge Minister B Ramanatha Rai has said that he would instruct the officials to get reimbursed the loss caused during the February 25 bundh from those who gave the bundh call. Speaking to reporters on February 26, Sunday, Rai said there is a Supreme Court ruling which states that those who gave bundh call should themselves bear the losses caused during the bundh.

On the unprecedented security cover provided to Kerala Chief Minister during his visit to the city, Rai said Vijayan is a constitutionally elected leader and he has been provided due protection in accordance to the constitution.

Stating that the students who had to appear exams on Saturday had to face problems due to the bundh, the Minister said the RTO had not taken adequate measures to ensure adequate transport arrangements. He informed that he would write to the department concerned to initiate action against the RTO.
