Mithun Rai says all is well in Congress

Mangaluru District Youth Congress President Mithun Rai has said that all is well within Congress and he is not leaving the party. Mithun who was an aspirant for a ticket from Moodbidri constituency and was upset after he was denied a ticket, has cleared the air by stating that he would continue working for the Congress.

While admitting that he felt hurt when denied a ticket, he also made it clear that the party has never betrayed him. He said he had met Congress President Rahul Gandhi who has asked him to work towards the strengthening of Youth Congress.

He said it has been decided to reject the resignations given by all youth Congress members in protest against denial of ticket to him. Everyone would work unitedly for the victory of the Congress in all eight constituencies, he stated.
