Mangaluru: The colourful minds and active hands of LKG students of Mount Carmel Central School celebrated 'Colours Day'.

Within the school premises, the children from LKG along with their mentors were colourfully adorned to celebrate this day.

In addition, classrooms were decorated with four prime colours – yellow, green, red and blue.

The teachers welcomed the students with the 'Colour Song' while the students placed on the platform an ornament of the colour they chose.

The day commenced with prayer and thanks to the almighty for this bounty of colours in nature, amidst flowers, plants and greenery.

The invitees were the school's primary students, who applauded the tiny tots.

All the children put together appeared like a rainbow at MCCS. The day concluded with hands on activity of each child’s handprint impression of a butterfly which gave wings to learn and a sweet to water their taste buds.
