Mount Carmel Feast celebrated at Infant Mary Church, Bajjodi

Mangaluru: Parishioners of bajjodi along with the vibrant Secular carmelite members celebrated the Feast of our Lady of Mount Carmel on the 16th of July, 2016 in Infant Mary Church at 5.30pm

Rev. Fr. Joe Tauro, Rector of St. Joseph Monastry Carmel Hill presided over the festive Eucharist and preached a heart touching sermon highlighting the motherly character of our Lady with a request to remain close to her to feel her affection and protection. Carmelite priests from near and far along with Parish Priest Fr. Shabas and Asst. Fr. Ivan concelebrated in the thanksgiving sacrifice.

The angelic choir led by Clerita added flavor to the prayerful celebration. Scapulars, the sign of the motherly protection of Mary were distributed to the faithful after the mass.
