NSS unit of SMVITM organise “Skills for Successful Life” programme

Udupi: National Service Scheme (NSS) unit of SMVITM in association with Junior Chamber of India (JCI) Belman organized a one day training program “Skills for Successful Life” at the campus for the members of the NSS unit on 28 August 2016.

The program was inaugurated by Jc. K. Rajendra Bhat. In his inaugural address, Mr. Rajendra Bhat emphasized the need and importance of such skills for leading a successful life for everyone, especially for students. He also said that it is very important that students have some goals in their life to achieve success.

Prof. Dr. Thirumaleshwara Bhat, Principal in his presidential address focussed about the importance of such training programs and insisted the students to incorporate these skills in their life. Also he conveyed his gratitude to JCI Belman for organizing such a program in the campus for the benefit of the students. Mr. Guruprasad Bhat, Director JCI, Belman and Mr. Abhishek Kulal, President, JCI, Belman were present on the dias.

Earlier, Ms. Ujwala Shetty invoked the blessings of almighty,Mr.Nagaraja Rao,NSS Programme Officer briefed about the one day workshop. Mr. Ananthraj L welcomed the gathering. Mr. Rakshith introduced the guest,Mr. Shrinivas Bhat proposed vote of thanks. The program was compeered by Ms. Megha S Samaga.150 students attended the program and they were very appreciative of it. JHF K Rajendra Bhat and Mr. Dinesh Karkala conducted the workshop as resource persons.
