National Level English Fest ‘alfresco’ concluded at St Philomena College Puttur

Puttur: ‘Abilities and skills must be used in a right place and at a right time. The participants must accept the results in a right spirit’, said Rev. Fr vijay Lobo, Principal of St Philomena Pre University College Puttur.

He was speaking as the chief guest on the occasion of valedictory function of National Level English Fest ‘alfresco’ organized by Department of English of St Philomena College Puttur on February 20, 2019.

The Principal Prof. Leo Noronha delivered presidential address. The Dean of Humanities Prof. Ganapathy S graced the occasion.

The students from 20 colleges have participated in various events. St Aloysius College bagged the overall championship and Milagres College Kallianpur secured the Runners up trophy of ‘alfresco’.

The Student Coordinator Mr Mohammad Hashim welcomed the gathering. Assistant Professor of English Mrs. Noveline Fernandes presented the list of prize winners. HoD of the Department and Fest Convener Mrs. Bharathi S Rai proposed the vote of thanks. Ms. Anuradha Bharadwaj B R compered the programme.
