National Rural IT Quiz 2017: Little Rock Indian School, Brahmavar has created a record...

Udupi: The prestigious National Rural IT Quiz is jointly hosted by the IT, BT and Science and Technology department of Government of Karnataka and the TCS every year in the state since its inception in the year 2000. This year, the 18th edition of the quiz was conducted by the famous quiz master Giri Balasubramanium aka 'PickBrain'.

 

The students of Little Rock Indian School, Brahmavar Vishwas Adiga and Clifton D'Silva of class XI competed with the State Champions of Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh in the National Final which was held at Wadeyar Hall, Bangalore Palace on Friday, 17th November 2017 winning the National runners-up position this year. The quiz was organized as a part of Bangalore Tech Summit, the India's largest Tech Summit to encourage the students in rural parts of India. Little Rock Indian School, Brahmavar has created a record by winning the State Championships for 6 times including National Championship once and National runner's up twice in this prestigious Limca book record quiz.


Students are with the guests Priyank M. Kharge, the IT Minister of Karnataka, Puneeth Rajkumar, Film Actor, Nagraj Iraji, VP & Global Head of TCS Bengaluru and the quiz master PickBrain.
