Puttur: The department of Computer Science, St Philomena College Puttur, organises a U.G.C. sponsored National Level Seminar on ‘Emerging Technologies in Computer Science and Information Technology’ on 11-09-2015 in the College Auditorium.

Dr G. Raju, Dean, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Kannur University will inaugurate and deliver the keynote address. Rev. Dr Antony Prakash Montiero, College Campus Director will be the honorary guest. Very Rev. Fr Alfred J. Pinto, the Correspondent will preside. Dr Sanjay H.A. Professor and Head, Dept of Information Science and Engineering, NMIT Bangalore, Prof. B.S. Umashankar, Professor and Dean, Sahyadri Institute of Engineering and Management and Dr Nagesh H.R., Professor and Head, Dept of Computer Science and Engineering MITE, Moodbidri will participate as resource persons.

Dr Manjaiaha D.H. Professor, Dept of Computer Science, Mangalore University will deliver the valedictory address to be held later in the day. Prof. Leo Noronha, Principal will preside.

Puttur: The Department of Computer Science, St Philomena College Puttur, organisesd a U.G.C. sponsored National Level Seminar on ‘Emerging Technologies in Computer Science and Information Technology’ on 11-09-2015 in the College Auditorium.

Inaugurator of the Seminar Dr G. Raju, Dean, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Kannur University delivered the keynote address. He said, ‘Computer science is an integral part of our lives; it virtually shapes the object around us to everything we do.’ Rev. Dr Antony Prakash Montiero, College Campus Director was the honorary guest. Very Rev. Fr Alfred J. Pinto, the Correspondent presided over the function.

Ms. Kripa and team performed the prayer. Prof. Leo Noronha, Principal welcomed the gathering. Prof. Vinayachandra, Convenor of the Seminar proposed the vote of thanks. Prof. Geetha Poornima compered the programme.
