Udupi: National Vendor Development Programme cum Industrial Exhibition will be organized by Government of India, Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Branch MSME Development Institute, Mangaluru in association with Government of Karnataka, Department of Industries and Commerce, District Industries Centre, Udupi, District Small Industries Associations Manipal and Udupi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Udupi on 11th and 12th January, 2017 at Town Hall, Ajjarkad, Udupi.

The objectives of the program to provide an opportunity to Micro, Small and Medium Enterprizes to showcase their capabilities to the various wings of Government, establishments of Railways, Defence, Public Sector Understandings and other large scale private enterprises who outsource from micro and small enterprises.To enable the large scale enterprises to identify suitable vendors among the MSE sector for forging Vender-Vendee relationships and to expose the educated youth to the might of different sector of Indian enterprises by which inciting them to take up entrepreneurship as their career.

The inaugural function will be held on 11th January which Pramod Madhwaraj Minister in Charge of Udupi district will inaugurate the programme. Chief guests Shobha Karandleje MP, S. N. Ranagaprasad Director, MSMEDI, Bangaluru, T. Venkatesh IAS, DC Udupi and Priyanka Mary Francis IAS CEO of ZP will be present.
