National level Management Fest FACULA-2018 ‘REFLECTION’ held at SPC Puttur

Puttur: The Department of Business Administration, St Philomena College organized Under Graduate and Pre-University level National Level Management Fest FACULA 2018-‘REFLECTION’ on September 5, 2018 in college auditorium.

Pan India Leadership Recruitment Specialist of Accenture Solutions Pvt Ltd Bangalore, Mr Alfonse Amith Viegas inaugurated the Fest and said, ‘College days never comes back. During these days students must take special interest in acquiring innovative ideas, which will be highly useful in the corporate world.’

The Campus Director Rev. Dr Antony Prakash Monteiro participated as the guest of honour and said, ‘Administrative and managerial skills always depends upon quality of leadership. One must always try to reflect on good points of others and weak points oneself.’

The Principal Prof. Leo Noronha in his message said, ‘Belongingness and hard work always leads to success.’

The Correspondent Very Rev. Fr Alfred J Pinto in his presidential address said, ‘In any administrative office accountability and transparency play a predominant role in determining success.’

Ms Srishti Rai and group performed the prayer. The HoD of the Department of Business Administration Mr. Radhakrishna Gowda welcomed the gathering. The Student Coordinator Ms Roshny M Y proposed the vote of thanks. Ms. Anuradha Bharadwaj compered the programme.

In the valedictory function, Mr. M Mahidra, Proprietor, M. Sanjeeva Shetty Silks and Sarees, Carstreet, Mangalore participated as the chief guest. He complimented all the prize winners of FACULA-2018. The Principal Prof. Leo Noronha presided over the programme.

The Convenor of Management Association Mr Prashanth Rai, faculty members of the Department Ms Pushpa N, Mr Harshith R and Student Coordinator Mr Daniel Boniface Periera coordinated the programme.

At the UG level, 10 teams have participated and overall championship was bagged by St Aloysius College (Autonomous) Mangalore and the runner up trophy was bagged by SDM College of Business Management Mangalore. At the PU level, SDM PU College Ujire emerged as the champions and St Philomena PU College Puttur secured the runner up trophy.

Ms Ankitha K welcomed the gathering. The Staff Coordinator and Assistant Professor Mr. Abhishek Suvarna proposed the vote of thanks. Ms Maithri K B compered the programme.
