New academic year inaugurated at Milagres College, Kallianpur

Udupi: New academic year 2018-19 was inaugurated recently at Milagres College, Kallianpur by Fr Dr Lawrence C D’Souza, secretary, CESU and correspondent, Milagres Educational Institutiions.

Speaking on the occasion Dr P V Bhandary, chief guest and the resource person said, “The students have to be cautious about four ‘M's', i.e., money, mobile, media and motorbike.” He said that students should dream and to realise the dreams they should have discipline, determination and dedication in their student life.

Correspondent Fr Dr Lawrence C D’Souza asked the students to make full use of the opportunities available in the campus and to grow as responsible and socially sensible citizens of the country.

Principal of the college Dr Vincent Alva explained the various facilities available in the college. The deans of various faculties Prof Subrahmanya Joshi, Prof Melwin C Rego and Prof Sophia Dias were present on the occasion. Directors of SWC Dr Herald Monis welcomed the gathering, Prof Annamma rendred the vote of thanks and Sheril compered the programme.
